Setting up Outlook Express for
MADSCAPE.COM email addresses

Below are screenshots of the set-up wizard to guide you through getting your email through Outlook Express. Please use the color coded chart below for the correct information relating to the fields needing that information.

Color Field Data Purpose
  mail.madscape.com incoming or POP server
  smtp.popsite.net
 Users outside of CT or RI should be using our National access numbers. The SMTP server (above) is used for the national access system. If not dialing in with us, please use your connection providers SMTP server.		 outgoing or SMTP server
  username account user ID
  username@madscape.com email address

Using the Wizard

Open Outlook Express, go to Tools then to Accounts

Go to the Mail tab, then to Add to Mail

The Display Name is the name other people will see when they get email from you. Type anything you want there.

Type your MADSCAPE.COM email address.

  username account user ID
  username@madscape.com email address

Type the names of the servers from the chart above.

Type your account name. Always the first half of your email address.

Click Next, then Finish. That's it

Viewing the properties

Open Outlook Express, go to Tools then to Accounts

If you need to adjust these settings, you can view the account Properties by going to Mail tab, highlight your account then click Properties.
